In 2015, the NIHC Steering Committee identified the need to charter specific committees & subcommittees within the framework of the Collaborative to help guide the work of the overall mission and vision. Since January 2016, these committees have been integral in generating progressive and innovative advancement of IPE in our region. In August 2018, a Board of Governors was created to further enhance the growth of the collaborative. These dedicated champions of interprofessional practice and education are also the Deans, Provosts, and Faculty within the academic institutions of the Collaborative.
