IPE Service & Recognition Awards

The Northwest Interprofessional Health Collaborative holds in high regard the contributions made by faculty, staff, administrators, students, and community members towards the promotion of interprofessional education and collaborative practice. We welcome nominations and self-nominations from individuals affiliated with NIHC, including administration, faculty, preceptors, staff, and students. Nominations can be submitted at any time using the Jotform link provided below. Please ensure that the nomination form is completed in full, accompanied by a statement of support highlighting the nominee’s significant contributions aligned with the award criteria. The deadline for nominations is set no later than 5 weeks prior to the award presentation. All nominations undergo a thorough review by members of the NIHC Internal Advisory Council.

Faculty Award Categories

Up-and-Comer Award
This award is presented to a NIHC faculty member in the first three (3) years of their engagement with the collaborative who demonstrates enthusiasm for and commitment to advancing interprofessional education (IPE) and collaborative practice (IPCP) through teaching, scholarship, service, or clinical practice. 

Stand-Out-Performer Award
This award is presented to a NIHC faculty or staff member in the first 3-10 years of active engagement in the NIHC who demonstrates significant contributions to the advancement of interprofessional education and practice through curricular development, faculty development, scholarship, teaching, and practice. 

The Dr. Robert Sutton Career Achievement Award
This award is presented to a NIHC member with more than 10 years of demonstrated commitment to advancing interprofessional education, exemplary contributions to interprofessional collaborative practice, and sustained service to the NIHC, including curricular design and delivery, faculty development, scholarship, and community service.   

Student Award Categories

Student Excellence in IPE Award
This award is presented to an NIHC student who demonstrates enthusiasm, commitment, and leadership to advancing interprofessional education and practice.

Staff/Administrator Award Categories

IPE Champion Award
This award is presented to a dedicated staff/administrator who provides sustained contributions and service the NIHC.
