PILLAR #1: LEARNERS
  • Our learners enter practice with foundational knowledge and skills for interprofessional practice. ​
  • Interprofessional opportunities are available to students outside the core IPE curriculum to enhance professional development.​
  • The NIHC provides learning environments that are supportive of interprofessional education & practice. ​
PILLAR #2: FACULTY & PRECEPTORS
  • Faculty & preceptors have foundational interprofessional knowledge and skills to teach, advance, and model collaborative practice. ​
  • Faculty & preceptors develop programs of scholarship related to interprofessional practice and education.​
  • The NIHC has adequate faculty participation and engagement to ensure success of the collaborative and positive impact in our communities. ​
PILLAR #3: THE COLLABORATIVE
  • The NIHC provides IPE that meets or exceeds the accreditation standards of our partner programs.​
  • Participating programs are satisfied with the content, services, utilization, and engagement provided by the NIHC.​
  • Members of the collaborative are inclusive of our diverse care teams and communities.
PILLAR #4: OUR COMMUNITIES
  • Community members recognize the NIHC as a source of expertise in interprofessional practice and education.​
  • Health care in our communities is improved by NIHC programs and services. ​
