Director of Admissions & Recruitment

Jennifer Agatep, EdD

jagatep@pnwu.edu

Dr. Agatep has over 16 years of experience working in higher education. She has extensive experience working in admissions, recruitment, teaching, student services, student success and retention. Prior to joining PNW, Dr. Agatep was the Director of Student Affairs at the Universities of Canada in Egypt. In addition, she has formerly worked with various institutions such as Pepperdine University, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), University of California, Irvine (UCI), Westcoast University, and Embry-Riddle, Aeronautical University.

Dr. Agatep received her BA, American Literature & Culture from UCLA; MA, English from CSUDH; and EdD, Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. Her dissertation topic focuses on holistic admissions processes.

During her spare time, Dr. Agatep enjoys playing her ukulele, running, shopping at vintage/boutique stores, trying different culinary cuisines, watching horror movies, spending time with her dog, Napoleon, and traveling.

T’Erra Felder, MS

T’Erra’s higher education experience spans across admissions, orientation, and campus life. She enjoys assisting students as they begin or continue their journey towards their educational and career aspirations. T’Erra received a BS in Psychology and a MS in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Central Missouri before moving to Central Washington.

Bowling, baking, and painting are just some of T’Erra’s hobbies. She finds excitement engaging in new experiences and learning about people, food, cultures, and animals.

Emmanuel Jaiyeola, PhD

Dr. Jaiyeola has worked in higher education for 5 years as an Instructor and academic coach. He enjoys working with students in guiding and preparing them for academic success. As a previous Instructor and Advisor at Washington State University, his passion and motivation has positively impacted many first-year students. Dr. Jaiyeola received his BS in Political Science from Lagos State University, MS in Human Resource Development from the University of Manchester, and PhD in Cultural Studies and Social Thoughts from Washington State University.

During his spare time, Dr. Jaiyeola finds pleasure in hanging out with active, creative, and analytical thinking people. He relishes in reading critical books, conducting research, and solving problems. Dr. Jaiyeola is very active and enjoys trying new things, gardening and traveling with his family.

Emma joined the Admissions Department at PNWU in 2021. She recently graduated from Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) with a BA in Psychology. In her spare time, Emma enjoys going on walks, thrifting, reading, watching movies, and photography.

Tricia has been with the Admissions Department at PNWU for nearly 8 years. Before joining PNWU, Tricia spent 7 years taking care of her 4 daughters. She has worked in higher education for nearly 10 years, having prior experience as an Admissions Counselor at her alma mater, Southern Nazarene University (SNU). In addition, Tricia received her BS in Vocal Performance at SNU.

Tricia loves spending time with her family. She enjoys thrift shopping and learning the latest TikToks with her teenage daughters. She also loves hiking the PNW with her husband of 22 years. During her downtime, you will find her hanging out with her 2 pugs, Phineas and Mildred or relaxing with a cup of coffee and reading a good book.

Nolan joined PNWU as a Standardized Patient. After working closely with the students, he was inspired to take a more permanent role. Nolan enjoys spending time reading, writing, and playing with his dog.
