Research Exchange

The PNWU Research Exchange follows the tradition of research communities of practice. It is a forum for researchers to:

  • Find nodes of shared interest and collaboration
  • Provide opportunities to share ideas and receive feedback
  • Learn topically and methodologically
  • Problem-solve collectively

Research Exchange meetings may consist of:

  • Regular monthly meetings with rotating leadership
  • Presentations of work, proposed projects, or opportunities
  • Journal club-like discussions of key publications
  • Methodological learning and discussions
  • Team development and joint efforts on projects
  • Involvement of key partners from local communities

The Research Exchange is not intended to be:

  • Exclusionary to anyone
  • A limitation to anyone’s work
  • Agenda-setting
  • Expectation-raising
  • Required for anyone
