In 2015, Pacific Northwest University and the WWAMI Family Medicine Residency Network (FMRN) formed a collaborative to assist regional family medicine residencies with ACGME osteopathic recognition and support AOA programs with the single accreditation process. FMRN consists of 30 family medicine residency programs in Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho (WWAMI) and is one of the largest residency networks in the United States.
