Stephen Dechter DO
Dr. Stephen Dechter is board certified in Pain Medicine as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His special interests include the multidisciplinary management of musculoskeletal joint and spine pain as well as regenerative medicine. Dr. Dechter is passionate about spearheading the fight against the opiate epidemic.
Dr. Dechter received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University, and then attended graduate school at Cornell University. He went on to study medicine at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, where he graduated with honors.
Dr. Dechter completed his residency training at Case Western Reserve University in physical medicine and rehabilitation, where he served as chief resident. He received specialized training at the Cleveland Clinic, and went on to complete his fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at UCLA, where he trained at the UCLA Spine Center as well as the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center. A native of the Tri-Cities, Dr. Dechter is married to his high school sweetheart, also a Tri-Cities area local. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and snowboarding.
