Lawrence Larson DO

Dr. Lawrence Larson is the co-founder of Pediatrics Northwest in Tacoma, Washington. After graduating from the University of Redlands in California, he completed his medical education at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Larson completed his residency in pediatrics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Larson is board certified in pediatrics, allergy/immunology with participation in maintenance of certification.
Since beginning his practice in Tacoma, Dr. Larson has served in various positions at St. Joseph Hospital, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital (twice staff president), and he is a past president of the Pierce County Medical Society. He currently serves as president and CEO of Pediatrics Northwest and is a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington Medical School.
Dr. Larson enjoys spending time with his family, keeping up-to-date on his practice, playing tennis, exercising, and fishing.
