The Director of Student Success for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) assists medical students with achieving their true potential, and provides direct oversight of student academic progress, well-being, professionalism and behavioral issues, and career counseling/mentoring. Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, the Director of Student Success provides leadership, directs academic retention services, evaluation and assessment of students with potential learning disabilities and mental health conditions, in addition to program development for at-risk medical students enrolled in the PNWU COM who are not achieving standard academic progress. The Director of Student Success is a student advocate liaison to the Dean. In concert with other administrators and the COM faculty, the Director of Student Success provides leadership and makes recommendations for students.
