Current Use Funds

Current Use Funds have an immediate impact. The funds donated are available to be expended right away to benefit students at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.

PNWU Annual Fund
Supports the most urgent need of the University at the direction of the President. Examples of use include educational equipment for new PNWU students (iPads, stethoscope, etc.), research funding for faculty and students, technology updates, and Scholars Program stipends and tuition.

A.T. Still Osteopathic Medicine Scholarship Fund
The A.T. Still Osteopathic Medicine Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 by the Osteopathic Foundation of Central Washington and funded by the annual PNWU Osteopathic Golf Classic. Applicants shall meet the following criteria:

  • Excellent academic achievement; 
  • Demonstrate leadership efforts in addressing the health needs of rural and underserved populations;
  • Completed noteworthy accomplishments, awards and honors, special projects, and/or extracurricular activities that demonstrate the applicant's ability to be a leader;
  • Expressed commitment to practice in the Pacific Northwest.

PNWU Capital Projects

  • Innovative Health Care Learning Center
    The Center will enable teaching of collaborative and innovative health care by serving as a campus hub for simulation labs and student success through study and wellness spaces.
  • Project NEXT
    This new building on campus will provide space for educational partners of PNWU and offer flexible space to form and launch new PNWU programs.

Roots to Wings Program Fund
Roots to Wings is a health sciences education pathway program that serves local Native American and Hispanic students through a co-mentoring model with PNWU medical students.

Student Government Association (SGA) Fund 
The PNWU SGA is responsible for dispersing funds for student activities, acting as a liaison for the student body, promoting health care professions, supporting club and classroom activities, and working to improve the quality of life for all PNWU students.

Library Fund
Monetary gifts for purchase of library materials are greatly appreciated.
