2020 Year End Giving

As you consider your final gifts of the 2020 tax year, thank you for remembering Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences! Every gift enhances education for healthcare professionals emphasizing service among rural and medically underserved communities throughout the Northwest.

Gifts can be given over the phone, through the mail or made online.

PNWU office hours for the end of the year (PST)

December 21-22 8am – 5pm, however the campus is closed due to COVID-19 so please call to arrange personal delivery of gifts.
December 23 – January 1 – Closed

Checks:

Gifts made by check must be postmarked by Thursday, December 31. Please write checks to “PNWU” and indicate which fund you are supporting on the memo line.

Credit Cards:

Gifts made by credit card can be made by calling our offices during listed business hours, or made online before 5 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, December 31, but please remember that the legal date of the gift for a credit card donation is the date the bank authorizes the charge.

Gifts of Securities:

Securities received by the PNWU’s brokerage account by Thursday, December 31, will be eligible for a 2020 tax deduction. Securities transfers should be initiated by 12/20/2020 in advance of year end. For more information, contact Lauri Roberson (509) 249-7874.

Gifts from IRAs / IRA Charitable Rollover:

Donors wishing to take advantage of the IRA Charitable Rollover provision for 2020 must ensure the funds are transferred and received by PNWU before 12/31/2020.
