Clinical Rotation - Blackfoot

YES! Idaho has a lot to offer for outdoor enthusiasts. We are close to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole, WY and Lava Hot Springs is only 45 minutes away.

All of the students meet for didactics on Wednesday as one class.

Yes, we have an IM Residency program. The students and residents are together for didactics.
Opportunities to practice OMM:
We hold didactics every Wednesday. We include students in CME's. There is usually a lecture for 1 hour. The students participate in Board Review.

Core (3rd year) rotations within driving distance (1 hour or 50 miles) of the didactics site?
Yes, didactics are held in Blackfoot, and core rotations are scheduled in Blackfoot, Pocatello, and Idaho Falls.
Why might a student choose this region over another?
We are a small program. We only take 6 students total per year. We only send 1 student per preceptor at a time.
