Library materials, regardless of format, will be selected to complement PNWU curricula and to promote the learning, teaching, and research needs of PNWU students, faculty, and staff.

Library materials, regardless of format, will be selected to complement PNWU curricula and to promote the learning, teaching, and research needs of PNWU students, faculty, and staff. 
 
Books, journals, commercial databases, and other resources will be selected based on reviews and on recommendations of faculty, staff, and students.
 
Library staff will periodically analyze the collection for currency and relevance.
 
Journals must be indexed in MEDLINE, OSTMED-DR, or other standard indexes in order to be included in the collection.
 
Annually, the library staff will review the previous year’s interlibrary loan records to determine if there are journals that should be added to the collection.
