Library: Access and Materials Circulation Policy

Library access and materials circulation are provided to PNWU students, faculty, staff, adjunct clinical faculty, and residents/interns and to non-PNWU faculty and students from affiliated programs hosted on the PNWU campus.

Library access and materials circulation are provided to PNWU students, faculty, staff, adjunct clinical faculty, and residents/interns and to non-PNWU faculty and students from affiliated programs hosted on the PNWU campus. Limited access without borrowing privileges is available to the public.
 
The aforementioned PNWU users and non-PNWU affiliates may access the Library during posted open hours. The public may use the Library only during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
 
Licensed online resources may be accessed by PNWU students and employees only. Remote access to designated licensed online resources may be available to adjunct clinical faculty, residents, and interns; access is subject to change without notice. Unaffiliated walk-in users may access online resources using the Library’s guest computers, in accordance with the terms of the license agreements governing those resources.
 
Books (other than reserve, reference, and special collections) and other general circulating materials may be checked out for two weeks, except for designated nonbook items that have a one-week circulation period. Reserve materials may be checked out for 24 hours.
 
Reference books, special collection materials, and journals do not circulate and may not be removed from the Library.
 
Library users will be asked to show their PNWU ID or appropriate affiliate ID in order to borrow materials.
