Kevin Taylor MD

Adjunct Assistant Professor - Family Medicine

Kevin grew up in farm country in Idaho. This rural background combined with a love of biology and medicine fueled his interest in Family Medicine in underserved communities. After residency in Boise, Idaho, he worked at an FQHC in Moses Lake, Washington, followed by a brief stent in the Spokane Valley of Washington. His deepest point of service was doing dull scope Family Practice with obstetrics at the small Catholic Hospital system, Lourdes Health, in Pasco. Over the 34 years he worked there, his skill set migrated into becoming the Medical Director of Clinics with many leadership, recruitment and policy roles. He fell in love with teaching residents and students, having provided core Family Medicine rotations for PNWU third year students since the first class, and now hopes to continue that fulfilling role by teaching exam skills to early medical students at PNWU.
