Dan Selski

Dr. Selski graduated from Berea College, a small liberal arts work-study school in Kentucky, with a degree in Chemistry. He went on to study Neurobiology at the University of Rochester in upstate New York for graduate school. His dissertation evaluated new transcription factors in the developing human brain; and his post-doctoral research at the University of Minnesota focused on the development of neural connections early in brain development using the chick as a model system. He continued this area of research while teaching undergraduate Biology at CWU in Ellensburg, WA. His teaching experience ranges from introductory cell biology to advanced neurophysiology, and he has continuously taught Anatomy, whether it was to undergraduate pre-health professionals or to medical/dental students at the larger universities. He joined the PNWU faculty part-time in 2013 and full-time in 2014, and helps teach Gross Anatomy, Embryology, Histology, and Neuroscience.
