Thomas Kincheloe DO

Assistant Professor of OPP

Dr. Thomas Kincheloe joined PNWU as Assistant Professor in the Division of Osteopathic Principles and Practice in 2023. Prior to his undergraduate education, he served in the US Army as a combat medic from 2004 to 2011. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University.  He finished his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in 2018. Dr. Kincheloe completed his internship at Stony Brook at Southampton Hospital and subsequently his residency  in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Michigan State University.
He earned his board certification in NMM by the AOBNMM in 2022. He has completed additional training in Fascial Distortion Model and has been Internationally Certified in FDM since 2020. Prior to teaching at PNWU, he practiced OMT full-time in both Eugene, Oregon and in Tri-Cities, Washington.
He is an active Physician for USA Boxing, and currently provides ringside medical coverage to numerous amateur and professional combat sports events. He is currently active in as a Board member of the Northwest Osteopathic Foundation, a Research Committee Member of the American Fascial Distortion Model Association, and Associate Editor for the Journal of Combat Sports Medicine.
He spends his free time with his wife and 2 kids. If he has any remaining spare time, he further enriches his martial arts education, which he is currently a Black Belt in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.
