The Senior Executive Assistant and Academic Coordinator (SEAAC) supports the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost (Provost) in the development, administration, and management of the university’s academic programs. The SEAAC serves as a point of contact with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinates continuing education activities and manages university events. Coordinates activities between the academic programs and university shared services (i.e., enrollment management, integrated institutional effectiveness, library services, office of scholarly activity, and simulation) as Directed by the Provost. Provides administrative support, when necessary, to the Northwest Interprofessional Health Collaborative (NIHC) as directed by the Provost. Provides leadership to support staff within academic affairs and university shared services. Leads regular meetings with academic program administrative support staff. Ensures continuity and uniformity of reporting across university academic programs. The SEAAC oversees all university commencement activities, including those at the university level and those at the program level. Manages vendor contracts for commencement. Facilitates the development of university policies and procedures. Supports committees and task forces with scheduling, recording minutes, and transcribing. Represents executives at meetings when necessary. Assists with Human Resources tasks, including payroll, training, and new faculty/staff on boarding. Helps maintain external community partnerships as designated by the Provost. Maintains a repository for university-wide academic documents and faculty credentials. Works with the Office of Integrated Institutional Effectiveness in collecting institutional academic data. Acts as a project manager for specific university initiatives.
