PNWU Honors Fourth Graduating Class of Master of Arts in Medical Sciences Students
In a ceremony filled with pride and reflection, Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) celebrated the graduation of its fourth Master of Arts in Medical Sciences (MAMS) class. The 22 graduates were honored during the morning commencement ceremony, joining the growing legacy of PNWU MAMS Alumni who have utilized the program as a springboard into a life of service in health care and science.
Established to prepare aspiring health professionals with a rigorous foundation in biomedical science, the MAMS program at PNWU has become a proven pathway for students pursuing advanced education in medicine, dentistry, research, and more. Its curriculum is designed to challenge, inspire, and support students as they clarify their purpose and prepare for future careers rooted in service and scientific excellence.

For the Class of 2025, the journey was more than academic — it was deeply personal.
Many students arrived at PNWU seeking not only further education, but affirmation of their calling to serve communities in need. Over the course of the yearlong program, they found that and more: a supportive network, a demanding curriculum, and a renewed commitment to making a difference.
“The MAMS program is a powerful testament to the potential that lies within every student when given the right tools, mentorship, and mission.”
“The MAMS program is a powerful testament to the potential that lies within every student when given the right tools, mentorship, and mission,” said PNWU Provost Dr. Wayne Miller. “It equips future professionals with the resilience, discipline, and purpose that are critical to meeting today’s health care challenges head-on.”

The Class of 2025 leaves PNWU with more than an advanced degree — they carry forward a mission: to improve the health of rural and medically underserved communities. Whether continuing into professional schools or entering the workforce, their experience at PNWU will shape the way they lead, learn, and serve in the years ahead.
