PNWU-COM Celebrates the Class of 2025: 139 New DOs Prepared to Impact Care Across the Northwest and Beyond
139 graduates of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine (PNWU-COM) officially joined the ranks of PNWU’s growing legacy of health care leaders during the University’s 2025 Commencement Ceremony.
With their hooding, PNWU-COM’s Class of 2025 became the University’s fourteenth graduating class of Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, joining 1,448 alumni who have gone on to serve as physicians across the Northwest and beyond.

“’Revolutionizing Community Health’ is more than just a tagline at PNWU: it’s a reality.”
“’Revolutionizing Community Health’ is more than just a tagline at PNWU: it’s a reality,” said Dr. Thomas Scandalis, Dean of PNWU-COM. “With the graduation of four professional health sciences programs, our university is truly making an impact on the communities we serve.”
The ceremony also featured the University’s Military Promotions Ceremony, honoring those graduates who will now serve as medical officers in the United States Armed Forces — a powerful reminder of the Class of 2025’s deep sense of purpose and service.

As PNWU-COM continues to earn national distinction — ranked third in the nation for graduates practicing in rural areas, fourth in primary care, and tenth in graduates practicing in medically underserved areas — our newest DOs enter the next phase of their careers with confidence, compassion, and a commitment to improving the health of our communities.
