Golfers took to the greens for the PNWU Golf Classic at Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima on Friday, September 6. The annual golf tournament included 34 teams of community members and PNWU faculty, students, and staff.
All fundraising proceeds from the event contribute to The Mission Fund, a new scholarship fund that will benefit students from all five of PNWU’s health sciences programs.
This year was a new record in funds raised: $79,300 in scholarship contribution!
“Thank you to all the players and to our many business sponsors,” said Alexa Dodd, who helped organize the event. “Their ongoing support helps us make this event a success, and we can’t wait to see you again next year.”
