Advisory Council

About this Committee

The NIHC Advisory Committee serves as a guiding body for the Northwest Interprofessional Health Collaborative (NIHC), offering expert insight and strategic direction on contemporary interprofessional practice and education (IPE) issues. The committee plays a key role in shaping the Collaborative’s goals and ensuring alignment with its mission.

A central focus of the committee is to foster engagement among administration, faculty, and students, encouraging active participation in NIHC initiatives. Through collaboration and innovation, the committee works to generate forward-thinking ideas that advance IPE efforts across the institution.

In addition to strategic planning, the committee supports effective communication among NIHC councils, committees, and the broader academic community. Members also serve as ambassadors, representing the NIHC at local, regional, and national levels to promote the value and impact of interprofessional education.

Furthermore, the committee advocates for the involvement of academic partner leadership and administration, reinforcing their essential role in supporting and sustaining the mission of the NIHC.
