Policy:
Academic programs may grant credit by examination in appropriate course(s) to students presenting extraordinary admission credentials according to clearly defined, easily accessible, published policies in the Student Catalog and published procedures in the Student Handbook that provide adequate safeguards to ensure academic quality.

The academic program must report the credit by examination criteria and examination result to the Registrar Office for required record keeping. Credit earned by examination appears on the transcript with a pass (P) grade only. A percentage grade will not be issued and the credits will not be included for class ranking purposes.
