Policy:
PNWU requires all students who withdraw from the university to fulfill their outstanding financial obligations, including tuition, fees, and related charges, in accordance with state regulations. Payment of remaining balances must be made by the designated due dates. Failure to comply within 60 days or after missing two consecutive payments may result in the account being referred to an external collection agency.
Once an account is referred, the debtor is responsible for payment of the full account balance plus any additional collection fees, attorney and professional fees, and other related charges. Delinquent accounts may also be reported to credit bureaus. Direct settlement with the university will no longer be an option at that point.
This policy is designed to ensure fair and consistent handling of unpaid student balances and to comply with applicable state laws.
