  • All vehicle accidents are to be reported to Campus Security regardless of the severity.
  • Overnight parking is allowed only with preapproval by the Campus Security Manager.
  • All PNWU affiliates, including on-campus partner organizations, are required to register their vehicles and receive a parking permit. Vehicle information must be kept up-to-date with Campus Security.

Zones

  • General parking spaces are open for all vehicles with any type of valid PNWU parking permit.
  • Staff parking areas are designated by a posted sign or a painted label. After 5pm, staff parking becomes available for general use.
  • Visitor parking areas are designated by posted sign. For large events, visitors may park in any open general parking.
  • Loading zones are available for loading and unloading passengers and equipment.
  • There is no parking in a fire lane for any reason.
  • Areas labeled No Parking Zone are available for loading and unloading only if no loading zone is available and for a limited time.
  • Electric vehicles are allowed to charge in designated areas only. Cords not connected to charging stations or that are blocking walkways will be confiscated.

Towing

  • Vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense for unauthorized parking and/or safety or hazard concerns if Campus Security is unable to locate the owner.
  • Only Campus Security may authorize a general tow for unauthorized parking and safety/hazard situations.
  • Individuals may tow disabled personal vehicles from campus with notification to Campus Security.
