Policy:  
Professional library staff partner with the university community to discover, access, and ethically use information effectively for academic success, research, and lifelong learning.  

Reference service transactions are conducted in-person or virtually for individuals affiliated with PNWU during library hours of operation.  PNWU affiliates may schedule in-depth research consultations for in-person or virtual delivery.  Active students, faculty, and staff may elect to use a staffed 24/7 chat reference option outside of the library’s operational hours for their research needs.  Public service is by appointment only. 

User feedback informs quality improvements in reference and library research service delivery.
