Library: Access and Materials Circulation Policy

Policy:  
Library access with borrowing privileges is available to PNWU students and employees and to non-PNWU students and employees from affiliated programs hosted on the PNWU campus. Limited access without borrowing privileges is available to the public. 
 
The aforementioned PNWU users, non-PNWU affiliates, and public may access the Library during regular business hours as posted on the Library website. 
 
Licensed online resources may be accessed by PNWU students and employees only. Remote access to designated licensed online resources may be available to clinical faculty, residents, and interns; access is subject to change without notice. Unaffiliated walk-in users and public may access online resources using the Library’s guest computers, in accordance with the terms of the license agreements governing those resources. Public use is by appointment only. 
 
Books (other than reserve, reference, and special collections), physical media, and other general circulating materials may be checked out for two weeks, except for designated nonbook items that have a one-week circulation period. Course Reserve materials may be checked out for 24 hours. 
 
Reference books, special collection materials, and journals do not circulate and may not be removed from  the PNWU campus. 
 
Library users will be asked to show their PNWU ID or appropriate affiliate ID in order to borrow materials.
