Randi S. Nathanson is a graduate of The George Washington University National Law Center and was a practicing attorney for 45 years until her retirement at the end of May 2024. During her career, Randi served as the General Counsel of two national nursing home companies, founded a boutique law firm–The Nathanson Group PLLC–which she owned for almost 30 years, during which time it grew from one employee to approximately 20 employees, and in 2022 transitioned her firm to a larger law firm as part of a succession planning process. Randi has represented a wide range of senior housing owners and operators, both public and private, throughout the United States. Her work for her clients included both transactional and regulatory matters. Since her retirement, Randi has focused on finding opportunities to apply her business and legal skills in the non-profit and academic sectors through teaching and board service.
