External Funding Request

What: Process for requesting external funds not related to research.
Why: External funds can be used to support University programs, projects, and campaigns.
Who: PNWU faculty, staff, and students may request assistance with submitting funding requests. Office of Development provides guidance for submitting funding requests.

Important: All external funding requests must involve the Office of Development.

Do not attempt to submit a funding request on your own. The Office of Development is here to support you and help you submit your request to achieve the best chance of success. Please contact grants@pnwu.edu for assistance!

Procedure

1. Proposer identifies funding opportunity.
2. Proposer completes and submits a Pre-Proposal Approval Form.
3. Pre-Proposal Approval Form is processed by the Office of Development.
4. Proposer develops proposal and project budget.
5. Proposer confirms external collaborations (if applicable).
6. Proposal is processed by the Office of Development.
7. The Office of Development submits proposal.
8. The Office of Development records proposal submission and notifies key staff.
9. The Office of Development shares award acceptance or decline notification.
