Reporting to the Vice President of Research (VPR), the Director of Research Compliance and Integrity (RCI) provides institutional oversight of research compliance functions within the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP). This position is responsible for administration of the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP); coordination of research integrity and misconduct procedures; implementation of education in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP); and operational support for the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). The Director of RCI serves as a key resource to faculty, staff, students, and institutional leadership promoting ethical research practices and ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and international regulations governing the conduct of research.
