Regional Assistant Dean
Todd Capistrant, DO is the Fairbanks Regional Assistant Dean and is responsible for the development and oversight of the Fairbanks region. He works with Adjunct Clinical Faculty and provides mentoring and management of students assigned to the Fairbanks region.
Dr. Capistrant graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA with a DO degree and a Masters of Science in Health Care Administration. He completed his residency through the University of Minnesota at St. Joseph’s Family Practice. Dr. Capistrant relocated to Alaska and started Fairbanks Urgent Care Center before moving to Tanana Valley Clinic where he is now the Assistant Medical Director and a Physician Board Member. Dr. Capistrant has been with PNWU since 2010 and has taught a number of courses on the Fascial Distortion Model at PNWU and abroad.
