Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Principles and Practice
Dr. Coleman graduated from the University of Health Sciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine (UHS) in Kansas City in 2004. She completed a Family Medicine Residency in 2008 and a Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (NMM) fellowship in 2010. She is board certified in both Family Medicine and NMM. She has private practice in Mt. Vernon, WA where she sees patients 3 days a week and frequently has medical students rotating in her practice, which is about 90% OMT. (The FP patients frequently require (or request) OMT, as well). She teaches at PNWU two days a week. She also volunteers at two free clinics, Safe Harbor Free Clinic in Stanwood, WA and United Gospel Mission in Yakima. She loves teaching medical students and life goals include increasing the number of Osteopathic Physicians who make Manual Medicine a part of their daily medical practice.
