Kristen Prewitt, DO is a board certified family medicine physician in Billings, Montana. She has an outpatient practice incorporating routine primary care with prenatal care, newborn rounding, and OMT. She has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia. She graduated from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in 2009 after completing a one-year undergraduate fellowship in OMM. She then completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She was the state-wide osteopathic chief resident during her third year. In 2013, she and her family moved to Billings, Montana and she has worked at the Billings Clinic since. PNWU students rotate with her and her husband for their OMM rotations.
Her special interests in medicine include OMT, preventative health, and lactation. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. She also enjoys reading, yoga, and going to the movies. When the kids are older, she and her husband hope to return to ballroom dancing.
